I. Adoration

– Jude 25 “To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”

II. Confession Of Sin

– The 1st Commandment
– WSC Q.46: What is required in the first commandment?
– Answer: The first commandment requireth us to know and acknowledge God to be the only true God, and our God, and to worship and glorify him accordingly.

III. Thanksgiving

– “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1)
– Praise God for Cabot’s faithful and fruitful internship
– Good PMU Meeting

IV. Supplications

A. Our Church

1. Church Ministry

– Weekday Ministry (Wednesday Bible Study & Weekly Prayer Meeting, Counseling Ministry), and individual’s personal ministry

2. Spiritual Need

– Humility and contentment (trusting God to accomplish His plan) “And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7)

3. Family

– Godly marriage (husband’s loving leadership/wife’s godly submission)

B. Presbytery/Denomination/PMU/WRS

1. PMU: Rev. Myungjoong (Andy) and Jin Yong: Tacoma Church Planter: Covenant BP Mission

Thanking God:
Steady attendance with the church core group.
Joyful fellowship among the church family each week.
An encouraging and refreshing time we had in Korea.

Please Pray:
The children of the church to grow spiritually through VBS and a retreat.
The Lord’s blessings on the church family picnic at the end of July.
Growth in number and spirit to become an independent church for God’s glory.

2. 89th Synod Meeting (August 5-7, Orlando, FL); peace and unity during the meeting; God’s wisdom upon ministers and delegates; traveling mercies

  – Niagara Gospel Mission: ministry to the men, expansion of women’s ministry, training in development of disciples

– Salvation Of The Lost “…the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, …” (Luke 1:78-79)
– Revival of God’s People “…And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living God.’ “ (Hos. 1:10)

– Linda M.: having some tests this week; please pray for good results
– Katie B.: Safe delivery of Julie C.’s baby due in August and that their family will continue to seek the Lord
– Katie B.: praise the Lord for the start of another year of homeschooling
– David C.: my mother-in-law’s chemotherapy
– Those dealing with health issues (quick recovery & guidance)
– Jason McGuire: Having traditional chemo therapy in addition to his ongoing treatment; healing for him; support for his family; the work of New York Family
– Dale M.: upcoming hip surgery in late August
– Gary & Glenda T.: for Mike R.; 1st shoulder had been re-damaged after injuring his 2nd shoulder; he is now awaiting another surgery to repair it again-it is very painful; please pray for the surgery to happen soon
– Teresa W.: for a friend, Dale S., healing of brain tumor; he is a Christian
